Master William BlackfoxMaster William Blackfox was the author and illustrator of the cartoon Warthaven. He gave generously of his time and talents, and was very supportive of the Kingdom Chroniclers of the Society until his untimely death. To honor his memory, the Office of the Society Chronicler sponsors the annual Master William Blackfox Awards to recognize excellence in the work of Chroniclers and newsletter contributors. The February 2013 was most recently nominated for best cover.  The August 2010 Talon A.S. XLV, won Best Artwork. Also,  April, October, and December ’08 issues of The Talon were all nominated for Blackfox Awards, with October ’08 winning BEST ARTWORK as well as BEST LAYOUT AND DESIGN for A.S. XLIII!
